This section provides guidelines for Delegates and Member Firms who are unsure how they may use the information gained through membership of this organisation. The general purpose of this is to outline what you can and can’t reasonably do with the information received once you have joined. 1. IPUG Content is intended for use only by its Member Firms and the Delegates acting on behalf of Member Firms. Delegates of Member Firms, who are not employed directly by the Member Firm (Eg Outsource Agent or Contractor), shall not share IPUG information with anyone apart from other authorised Delegates of Member Firms. 2. You recognise the privileged nature of the information distributed and shared through the Information Providers User Group (IPUG) of which you are an authorised Delegate for your Member Firm. 2. If, at any time, the information provided is expressly represented by the IPUG Executive committee as being confidential, you are requested not to disseminate it to any third person. 3. You recognise and agree that information obtained through IPUG, whether delivered verbally, via email, or via the IPUG web-site, is not intended for redistribution to members of the press or suppliers. You should not express IPUG opinions to suppliers or other non-member parties at any time. 4. As a member of IPUG, you may not represent an IPUG view in your dealings with market data suppliers unless this has been authorised by IPUG. (This is the sole responsibility of the IPUG Executive Committee unless a different approach is specifically agreed for particular issues.) 5. This does not affect your right to make a comment as an IPUG member or as a client in your own right. If you are interested in joining our group, email membership click here |
